How does Prolific pay you, and how fast?
Payments go through PayPal once your approved balance hits £6 or $6, arriving within 24 hours. Researchers get up to 22 days to review a submission; after that, Prolific approves it automatically.
Why am I stuck on the Prolific waitlist?
Invitations depend on demand for your demographics and expertise. Some people get in within hours; others wait months or longer. Support cannot accelerate it.
Is it safe to give Prolific your ID?
Verification runs through Onfido inside your Prolific account, using a photo ID and a short selfie video. Prolific never requests ID or documents through messages or social media.
