In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is designed for established professionals with deep inspection experience in crop condition and loss assessment, auction and pre-sale grading, and rental or lease return evaluations. You will analyze authentic inspection records, field or aerial photos, and documented imagery, producing assessments that reflect current industry best practices. Communication excellence, both written and verbal, is essential, as your insights will drive accurate training data for advanced technology platforms.
Scope of Work
• Review field and aerial imagery, as well as inspection records, to assess crop conditions and determine loss in line with insurance protocols.
• Evaluate vehicles and equipment for auction or pre-sale, assigning accurate condition grades using photographic evidence and inspection data.
• Analyze rental or lease return inspection records, identifying damage and detailing findings in clear, expert-level reports.
• Document and articulate the reasoning behind each grade or assessment, ensuring transparency and traceability of your conclusions.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators to clarify requirements and address project-specific needs.
• Provide high-quality, real-world input that will inform the development and refinement of AI models.
• Contribute expertise in one or more specialty areas; specify your area of focus during the engagement process.
Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in crop insurance adjusting, auction grading, or rental/lease return inspection.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting field and aerial imagery for agricultural or industrial assessments.
• Thorough understanding of industry grading standards and loss assessment methodologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-supported justifications.
• Comfort with remote work environments and digital platforms for document review and communication.
• Experience across multiple specialty areas (crop, auction, rental) is a plus, but not required.
